Rod Hunter was a #1 rated morning radio personality for 15 years before his natural transition to a on camera talent in the early 80s. Rod dominated the Arbitron ratings in Akron-Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Houston and San Diego and was awarded Billboard Magazine’s major market voice over talent of the year. With that popularity came many local, regional, and national spokesperson roles for TV: Ford, Chevy, Toyota, Nissan, Chrysler, Winnebago, Yamaha, HBO and Showtime. Rod’s next career step was to bring all that advertising experience to businesses nationwide. PrimeTime Ad Corp was formed in 1984 with clients from Los Angeles to New York City.

My Skill Set

I love the freedom I enjoy as a licensed pilot. I can fly a Bonanza from San Diego to Dallas Texas and back again in the same day. I can be in Las Vegas in just over an hour, or Catalina Island for lunch and home by 3:30.

Scuba diving gives me that feeling of weightlessness as a gentle current slowly carries me on a guided tour of the coral reef wall 30 feet below the surface at the Molokini Crater in Maui Hawaii.
